Wow. Boeing may need to do some damage control now that it appears that they may be actively discriminating against their same-sex married employees.

In the wake of Washington State's passage of Referendum 74, which legalized same-sex marriage in the state, Boeing has been asked by union reps to extend equal pension benefits to same-sex spouses.

According to union rep, Ray Goforth, Boeing has refused citing the federal government's non-recognition of same-sex marriage.

We can't decide if the level of schadenfreude we're enjoying is bordering on unhealthy as the conservative right wing scrambles to find reasons why the pro-marriage equality movement has gained so much momentum in the U.S.

(Because, ya know, it couldn't be that Americans are simply becoming more openminded and times are changing.)

Right wingnut Mat Staver apparently believes that marriage equality triumphed across the board this election cycle because Mitt Romney wasn't vocal enough in his denouncement of it. He takes Fox News to task as well.

Jon Stewart took Mike Huckabee to task last night over campaign ads that implied that those that voted in favor of pro marriage equality and/or pro-choice laws or candidates would go to Hell.

It's kind of a thing of beauty, minus Huckabee's complete unwillingness to admit that he's a devisive inflammatory asshole.

Rather than simply licking their wounds in the wake of their embarrassing defeat as they opposed marriage equality the poor persecuted "Christian" right has decided that "civil disobedience" is the answer.

Right-wingnut, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council is encouraging the "Christian" (there we go with those pesky quotes again) base to rise up against those forces that are "redefining marriage."

What that will entail, he won't say, but we're sure he doesn't mean to come off as threatening, right?? Certainly not.

Decide for yourself after the jump.
