San Francisco gay residents who were saddened by the ban on public nudity may find some solace in the possibility that a male strip club is coming to the Castro. Plans are underway to bring such a venue to the famous Castro and Market building, most recently known as the Diesel Outlet.

Facing huge controversy in the wake of embattled Army Specialist Bradley Manning being named Grand Marshal of San Francisco Pride, the organization's president Lisa L. Williams has issued a statement claiming that Manning's nomination was a "mistake" and that he was never actually named Grand Marshal.

Well at least GLAAD won't have to pay for travel!

The San Francisco Giants will be honored at the GLAAD Media Awards on May 11 in San Francisco. 

The Giants will be receiving the Corporate Leader Award, which is presented to companies or organizations that have demonstrated a stalwart commitment to building support for equality.

San Francisco 49ers, what's going on with you guys?! First the Chris Culliver gaffe and now some of you apparently wish you could take back your appearance in an "It Gets Better" video? This team is not doing its hometown proud this week. 

SF 49ers have denied their participation in the "It Gets Better" video seen 'round the world. After reporters showed them the video and the players saw themselves mumble some words from a script, they apparently wanted to distance themselves from the project.
