Sara Gilbert had big news to announce today on The Talk: she's engaged to mega producer, singer-songwriter Linda Perrry. (Perry gave us Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" as well as some of our favorite P!nk tracks!)

Openly gay host of The Talk Sara Gilbert and guest Lily Tomlin both celebrated the outpouring of support for the LGBT community in the midst of this week's Supreme Court cases as well as the prediction that DOMA will be declared unconstitutional. 

We may have gotten a little emotional ourselves.

CBS announced that once it yanks As The World Turns (after 54 tears) in September, it will replace the soap with a table full of chatty women. Sound familiar? 

The yet-to-be-named talk show will feature famous moms playing host, including the fabulous Sharon Osbourne, Big Brother host Julie Chen and actresses Holly Robinson Peete, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Leah Remini and Sara Gilbert.

 

Hey, at least they are reping for the ladies who love ladies. In fact, the show's concept was created by Gilbert (and she'll serve as producer.)

CBS calls the show "a familiar form but with big personalities and a distinct point of view coming through the lens of moms. It broadens our slate of daytime shows, and we think it has the potential to stand...
