A NYC straphanger gave a subway full of New Yorkers a reason to applaud on Saturday when he stood up to an ignorant wind bag!

The unidentified man couldn't take any more of the anti-gay rant being screamed on the train by someone who referred to himself as a preacher, so he schooled him on the true meaning of Christianity. Check out the incredible scene after the jump.

A California father isn't thrilled with the legislation that requires schools to include the accomplishments of the LGBT community in their curriculum.

In fact, he's planning to speak to the school board of the Capistrano Unified School District on Monday about the "re-education camps" this new legislation is supposedly creating.

The American Family Association has taken aim at "Mix It Up" Day, a program started by the Southern Poverty Law Center 11 years ago that encourages students to break away from their cliques and eat lunch with students that they wouldn't normally speak to. 

Why?

Apparently it's encouraging the pro-homosexual agenda. Duh.

Plans to eradicate the gays from history (at least for students in California public schools) have fallen short.

According to the Associated Press, "Opponents of a law that requires California public schools to cover the contributions of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people have again failed to qualify a ballot measure that would have overturned the requirement."
