Iconic queer artist Robert Mapplethorpe provided inspiration to all of us at some point in our lives, but perhaps none more than the inspiration imparted to the Scissor Sisters, who borrowed one of his photographs for the cover of Nightwork. 

Now, Scissor Sisters hotties Jake Shears and Babbydaddy (who I didn't know I had such a crush on until watching this interview) have returned the favor by curating an exhibit featuring their favorite Mapplethorpe photographs, on in London through March 19. Screw Kings Of Leon and Slash -- Glee needs to stick to the gaydored music it's pimped in the past. With that in mind, a Facebook group has popped up aiming to help Chris Colfer add "some sparkle" to the show with the tunes of Scissor Sisters. We're kicking spanking ourselves for not thinking of this first as it makes complete and utter sense! If Ryan Murphy and Jake Shears decide to go down this glittery road hand-in-hand, which Scissor Sisters song do you think Chris Colfer should tackle on Glee?

Almost as anticipated as the event itself, the announcement day of Coachella's lineup has finally arrived featuring plenty of gaydored acts crowded on the music festival's roster. Notable Instinct favorites like Robyn, Scissor Sisters, Brandon Flowers, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Kings of Leon, The Chemical Brothers, Chromeo and PJ Harvey catch our eyes first, while more obscure cult hits like Crystal Castles, Boys Noize, Sleigh Bells, The Presets round out the list with dozens of others. 

As in the past, expect even more exciting acts to be added to the already incredible lineup. Do you think Coachella got it right this year? Will you plan to head to the event based on this lineup?
