Utah advocacy organizations Equality Utah and Utah Pride arranged a meeting between local LGBT families and executives of KSL and Bonneville International. KSL is the NBC affiliate that chose not to air The New Normal, based on its "questionable" (read: gay) content.

GLAAD announced that they'll be partnering with Equality Utah and Utah Pride Center to host a panel discussion and screening of the  The New Normal for Utah residents.

The Weinstein Company appealed an MPAA rating of R attached to its upcoming doc Bully on Thursday in Sherman Oaks, California. Sure,  Bully addresses heavy subject matter, but no heavier than what LGBT schoolkids often endure—which is why producers fought for a reduced rating to be able to show the anti-bullying documentary in middle and high schools around the country.
