Marriage equality in France is pretty much a sure thing after the country's Socialist Party took control of the Parliament, stacking the deck in favor of gay-friendly President Francois Hollande. 

Certainly not evaporating the rumors that President Obama might mention marriage equality in tonight's State of the Union address is the invitation extended to two openly-gay women to sit in the gallery during the speech. Details follow.
