Two more democratic senators have come out in support of marriage equality today. Earlier this morning Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (ND) and Sen. Joe Donnelly (IN) announced their positions. Check out their statements after the jump.

37 U.S. Senators have sent a letter to President Obama asking him to issue an executive order that would put the Employment Non-Discrimination Act in place.

This would protect LGBT employees from discrimination by federal contractors.

So now they’re taking away our license plates? Really guys? Really?

You’d think homophobic bigots would be all in favor of descriptive tags that set us up for slashed tires and bashed in windows, but maybe they’ve all enrolled in the Kirk Cameron school of love and protection.

Anyway, twenty Indiana Senators have forced the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) to revoke a specialty license plate that benefits LGBT youth citing a so-called "contractual violation."

A great sign of progress was displayed in Ottawa, Canada on Saturday when a crowd of thousands supported the surprise engagement of Alicia and Christina.

Freedom to Marry's campaign to add marriage equality to the 2012 national Democratic platform is gaining steam—and supporters! According to Freedom to Marry, 21 Senators (and counting!) including John Kerry, Dianne Feinstein and Al Franken have signed on to support marriage equality. Details follow.

Though he means "no disrespect to our Native American friends," evangelical pastor David Barton invoked images of scalping the GOP New York senators who voted for marriage equality and hanging his bloody prizes in the gallery to scare other lawmakers away from voting in favor of civil rights. Praise Jesus! 

Coming through with his promise, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg today donated the maximum ceiling of $10,300 to the GOP state senators who voted for marriage equality last month. 

The notoriously gay-friendly junior New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand revealed what she's doing to help marriage equality move forward in Albany during a MSNBC segment on Tuesday afternoon. Watch the video, after the jump.
