Belgrade's gay Pride was scheduled for yesterday, but was canceled by organizers after credible threats of violence were made against the event. Now, in the wake of what the Serbian anti-gay extremists have hailed a victory against “infidels and Satanists” the Serbian government is considering a ban on all groups that threaten violence against others.

Would such a move hamper extreme homophobia and violence against Serbia's GLBT?
