Pinal County, Arizona's controversial Sheriff Paul Babeu was re-elected to office decisively after coming back from a political nightmare earlier this year following being outed as a gay man accused of trying to get his immigrant ex-partner deported.

Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu, the rising conservative star who earlier this year made headlines for allegedly threatening to have his immigrant gay ex deported, has been cleared of all charges.

This comes after his decision to end his congressional campaign and his subsequent successful re-election campaign as Sheriff of Pinal County.

Whoa. We didn't think things could get any uglier than Sheriff Patrick Sullivan Jr.'s initial fall from grace after being caught in a sting operation trading methamphetamine for sex, but the latest videotaped revelations are worse. So much worse.

Log Cabin Republicans, who admittedly are in need of a candidate—any candidate—that’s conservative and not spewing anti-gay vitriol have put their eggs in Sheriff Paul Babeu's basket.

You remember Sheriff Babeu, right Instincters? He allegedly threatened to deport his gay Mexican lover if he revealed their relationship. He also ran the Massachusetts boarding school where students levied accusations of sexual abuse, and Babeu was accused (by his sister) of having a relationship with a 17-year old student.

Well apparently Sheriff Babeu's electoral funding sources have shockingly dried up, so it's the Log Cabin Republicans to the rescue!

We previously reported on Patrick Sullivan, Jr., the disgraced former sheriff who was arrested in November for trading methamphetamine for sex with a gay male prostitute.

He was recently sentenced to 38 days in the jail that bore his name, the Patrick J. Sullivan Jr. Detention Center.

Jose Orozco has filed a lawsuit against his ex-boyfriend Sheriff Paul Babeu to the tune of $1 million.

Oh, Sheriff Paul. Seemingly intent on proving that it actually doesn’t get better, there’s a new set of developments and nasty accusations being levied upon the GOP’s gay, (former?) rising star, Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu.
