Britney Spears and Simon Cowell have been making the publicity rounds together, showing up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and now Live With Jimmy Kimmel.

We're pretending that it's because they adore each other and not because Britney Spears wouldn't be caught dead giving a solo, live-televised interview. 

Anyway! Things got fun when Brit Brit and Simon played a variation of "The Newlyweds" game with Jimmy Kimmel. Ever wondered what Britney's favorite curse word is? You'll find out after the jump.

We've been anxiously awaiting Britney's debut on The X-Factor—and by that we mean actual full on anxiety.

Will she have a(-nother) public meltdown? Will she speak with a British accent? Will she be an overly medicated zombie?

Admittedly, the last thing we could have fathomed would be that the legendary Ms. Spears—who knows more about “X” factor than most—could also potentially be slaying bitches and taking names.

Based on this newly released promo, we couldn't be more proud. It looks like our Brit Brit has come to play!

Britney Spears has officially signed on as a judge on The X Factor (along with someone called Demi Lovato??).

Spears joined Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Lovato on stage at FOX's network upfront presentation today in New York.

According to inside sources, Britney Spears has signed, sealed and delivered a record-breaking contract to join The X-Factor. Details follow.  

Simon Cowell is known more for his plummeting v-necks than his sense of humor, so is it really any surprise that he name dropped, flashed his credentials and got all huffy-puffy after lame gay jokes were lofted his way?

The X-Factor producers are trying their darnedest to assemble a constellation of big name stars in the hopes that its upcoming season's ratings outshine last year's under-performing debut. Deadline is reporting that Britney Spears continues to be thisclose to becoming The X-Factor's new judge after a $10 million offer was floated her way.
