We've kept our fingers and legs crossed (well, mostly just fingers) for the year and a half since we first laid eyes on the hilarious trailer for Half Share, the time honored story of a group of queens enjoying Fire Island. Finally, after international film festivals, high profile negotiations and a cult following that demanded more, Half Share has announced a world premiere—and a lot of generosity to go along with it. This is the only thing we want to watch on television.

Like ever.

Sir Ian McKellen is teaming up with his good friend, Sir Derek Jacobi (a founding member of the Royal National Academy, which loosely translated means he's fancy) as part of a new British television sitcom.

The show is called Vicious Old Queens and features McKellen and Jacobi as two elderly gay men living together in London. We DIE!

More after the jump.

While it may be getting a little less press than that other "gay comedy" debuting this fall (that Ryan Murphy certainly knows how to court controversy!), we're no less excited about Max Mutchnick and David Kohan's new show, Partners, which kicks off tonight on CBS!

Mutchnick and Kohan, the creators of Will & Grace, are bringing us a show that's loosely based on their own relationship as gay and straight business partners.

That we also get a gay couple comprised of Michael Urie and Brandon Routh is purely a bonus! Urie spoke to Zap2it about the show and we've got highlights after the jump!

Sounds like things are getting nasty.

The adult cast members of Modern Family (Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet) have not only rejected a proposed pay raise from the show's producer 20th Century Fox, they're now suing the company to get their contracts voided.

The cast apparently wants way more money. What's it all mean for one our fave gay-friendly shows?

Details after the jump.

And the parade of irrelevant former television stars continues...

Jimmie 'JJ' Walker, of the 1970's CBS sitcom Good Times, has spoken out against same-sex marriage.

You remember JJ, right? He played "JJ Evans" and coined the catchphrase, "Dyn-o-mite!"

Oh. You don't remember JJ? Us either. Still you can see what he has to say after the jump.

One of NBC's biggest fall endeavors, The New Normal, has hit us with a one-two punch over the past week.

First of all, the debut cast photo featuring a pregnant Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon), a pregnant Justin Bartha (The Hangover) and a pregnant Georgia King (Skins) gave us odd cravings for pickles and peanut butter with all the hormonal realness; today, NBC released the first teaser clip for the show following a gay couple's journey with surrogacy and made us tear-up a bit with its romantic moments. The hormones of it all!

Follow the jump to acquaint yourselves with Bryan, David and Goldie. We have a feeling we'll be discussing them a lot later this year!
