Former and famous Green Bay Packer Leroy Butler has lost out on an $8,500 speaking gig for praising Jason Collins on Twitter. A church in Wisconsin pulled the plug on the contracted gig after noticing Butler congratulated Jason Collins for coming out of the closet, citing a morality clause. 

How did the former footballer respond?

In the best way imaginable.

We've been a fan of of The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson for a long time.

We were really excited about the GLAAD Award winner's participation in LGBT activism including being a founding member of Straight But Not Narrow--an organization made up of LGBT allies. 

He's already made surprise visits to high school Gay Straight Alliances and now SBNN has linked up with the NOH8 campaign!

Jimmy sent an interviewer to the streets of West Hollywood to ask random pairs whether they're straight friends or gay couples and he let's the audience take their own guess.

PFLAG has announced that the organization will honor Sir Patrick Stewart with the Straight for Equality in Entertainment award at the fifth annual Straight for Equality Awards Gala.

PFLAG National will also be honoring our fave NFL players Brendon Ayanbadejo and Chris Kluwe, author John Irving, and Whirlpool Corporation.

A Change.org petition has formed after the school board governing Chambersburg Area Senior High School denied the formation of a gay/straight alliance (GSA).
