The game of catfish got even creepier (if that was even possible) over the weekend when it was discovered that 30-year old Zachary Reeder, a teacher at Servite Catholic High School in Orange, California, had allegedly been posing as a teen girl to get nude pics out of his male students.

A group of high school students from Spanish Fort, Alabama apparently didn't get the memo that the rest of the world has moved on from "that's gay" jokes. During a state championship title against Daphne that was broadcast on national television, the students raised a banner attacking their opponents' team color. "Purple? Man, that's gay."
The athletes from Daphne were probably shaking in their boots after reading that clever zing, right?

Police have charged Alexandra Pennell, an openly gay 19-year-old student at Central Connecticut State University with eight felony counts of fabricating evidence, eight misdemeanor charges of lying to police, eight misdemeanor counts of filing a false police report and one count of making a false statement to police, after they discovered the source of anti-gay notes that allegedly had been left for her by an unknown perpetrator.
It turns out she'd been writing the notes herself as a cry for attention.
