The world's largest anti-gay bukake (otherwise known as the Values Voter Summit) has kicked off in Philadelphia and made itself a prime target for the more vocal of progressive protesters. Vice Presidential nominee Rep. Paul Ryan became the first target when a pair of women claiming to be part of ACT-UP Philadelphia interrupted his b.s. drivel. 

As the 2012 Values Voter Summit approaches this weekend, a coalition of human rights groups including GLAAD, HRC and the National Black Justice Coalition have reached out to scheduled speakers and urged them not to appear at the annual hate fest hosted by the Family Research Council. 

Russia continued its rolling back of human rights support at a gathering of G8 foreign ministers hosted by Sec. of State Hillary Clinton. After an affirmation declaring that the G8 countries endorse LGBT rights was presented, only one nation refused to endorse the statement: Russia.

Dennis Jay Mayer, one of the two men arrested in Dominica for allegedly having sex on-board the Celebrity Summit cruise ship in view of the public, is speaking out on his ordeal.

Sure, unknowing bystanders might have confused last week’s pop-up mental institution, otherwise known as Family Research Council’s “Value Voters Summit,” with a filming of a One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest remake, but little did they know the guest speakers were not actors merely portraying the crazy.
