We're getting more Ellen!

The mega-successful talk show host and comedienne has had The Ellen DeGeneres Show renewed in a multi-year deal.

The lovely Ricki Lake is back doing what she does best on her new talk show and she's certainly keeping things provocative with her line up of guests! 

She sat down with Josh Weed, the gay man that's made somewhat of a name for himself (at least in the blogosphere) as an openly gay man who claims to be in a loving, sexually satisfying marriage with a woman.

Ellen DeGeneres is everywhere right now (yesterday, we revealed that she and Portia de Rossi made Forbes magazine's Most Powerful Couples list). This week she's the cover girl for The Hollywood Reporter and there's a great feature on the new Queen of Daytime.

We say "new" because she's ascended to the throne after the former queen, Oprah the Almighty, stepped down.

Still, there's no drama to see here between the former queen and her successor. It's all love. Oprah gives her take on the secret to Ellen's success after the jump!

Yep. We placed "season two" in scare quotes in the headline.

Why?

Because Anderson Cooper has given his ratings-plagued daytime show a new name, new home, new format, and new, regular faces for "season two" ... all amounting to basically an entirely different talk show for Anderson. But hey, we're not hatin' and we love to see our husband succeed. 

So, based on the changes you can read about after the jump, will you start watching Anderson Live (formerly known as Anderson formerly known as Oprah)? 

Channing Tatum could dress up as Maggie Gallagher for Halloween and we'd still somehow find him sexy. (Probably).

California’s Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, will launch The Gavin Newsom Show, a weekly program for Current TV, beginning in May.
