Our September cover star Mika has debuted an Instagram-laced short film accompanying the title track from his new album The Origin of Love. Shot with celebrated Chilean director Cristián Jiménez, the short juxtaposes the quixotic, upbeat song against a surreal urban backdrop. It's a big week for Mika! We finally lifted the veil on our hotly awaited September issue starring international pop artist Mika on the cover.

But the out artist hasn't stopped there: moments ago Mika revealed the cover art AND tracklisiting for his new album, The Origin Of Love. The thud you heard echoing across the international date line was the sound of our heads hitting the desk after fainting!

International pop star Mika has plenty to celebrate!

He's now openly gay (as revealed to the world by Instinct last week), has fans hysterical with anticipation for his new album The Origin Of Love (slated for a fall release), and provides a late but competitive entry into the Song of Summer battle with "Celebrate" (featuring Pharrell Williams). The anthemic new single got its music video debut this morning just in time to give us another reason to celebrate this Market Days weekend! Check out Mika's latest after the jump! 

Many likely remember a 2009 Dutch magazine cover featuring pop star Mika with the sprawling headline “Mika Clears Things Up: Call Me Bisexual.” 

The only problem was that the story, which he calls “disappointing,” didn’t clear things up at all because it wasn’t exactly what he intended to say.
