Our gaydored and cherished classics are being reworked left and right (Steel Magnolias, the most recent offender) with no end in sight, turning each and every queen across the country into Chris Crocker, crying "Leave *insert gay cult classic here* alone!" on a YouTube video.

The latest from the gay zeitgeist to receive a modern day makeover, courtesy of NBC, will be The Sound of Music. But the twist on this classic comeback actually holds some promise.
