After missing a lot of screentime already this year due to illness, 83-year old legend Barbara Walters officially announced her career retirement on The View.

News spread like wild fire last week that Elisabeth Hasselbeck was getting the boot from The View, but it appears that  the celebrations we witnessed across the interwebz may have been premature.

Following the announced departure of Joy Behar, now comes news that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is allegedly being fired from The View.

Joy Behar, the last original cast member (outside of Barbara Walters), is officially leaving The View.

Instead, it was the increasingly gorgeous Chris Colfer gracing the set with grace, charisma and a major side-eye delivered to homophobes who send nasty letters to Glee interns on his behalf.
