A Jackson, Tennessee man who shouldn't be allowed to have pets is having his dog killed because of normal canine activity. The man apparently noticed his male dog humping another male dog and immediately took the pup to a local shelter to be euthanized "because he's gay." 

Our smarty-pants friends over at Think Progress are taking a look at the next seven states that could expand rights for same-sex couples.

Yeah, we know, we're still celebrating our victories from the Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington, but hey, we've got the momentum, it's no time to rest on our laurels!

GLAAD and the Family Equality Council have put on their muck boots, yellow gloves and sanitary masks and stepped in to Rupert Everett's anti-gay mess. 

So, what what do the LGBT organizations have to say to the gay actor for unleashing homophobic comments about same-sex parents over the weekend?

We initially clicked on gay comedian Todd Glass' PSA for the Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network expecting a laugh.

Yeah, no laughs.

This is decidedly unfunny, but in 30 seconds it packs a very powerful punch.
