Scottish Cardinal Keith O'Brien was honored with Stonewall's annual "Bigot of the Year" award Thursday night in London for such hits as comparing marriage equality to slavery and child abuse and spreading rumors that homosexuality destroys a person's soul. Though the Cardinal was not on hand to provide an acceptance speech, many Christians have filled the vocal void with sharp criticisms of the internationally known LGBT group that handed out the award.

American Idol producers knew exactly what they were doing when they decided to mix a potent cocktail (our favorite kind!) by hiring certified DIVA Mariah Carey and outspoken Queens-born Nicki Minaj as judges. On the same panel. At the same time. It's like trying to mix olive oil and water. Or, if you'd like an example using items from Mariah Carey's celebrity rider, it's like mixing rose petal bath water at exactly 102 degrees and a case of Cristal champagne with a side box of bendy straws; it just doesn't work.
The grade school experiment was shown off at a recent American Idol audition after the two judges disagreed about a contestant's abilities which lead Nicki Minaj to reportedly threaten to "knock out" Mariah.
