It turns out Adam Levine won't be one of millions of Americans who tune in to TLC to share Christmas (in January) with Honey Boo Boo & kin. Giving us a run for our Drama Queen tiara, the Maroon 5 hottie recently skipped over AIDS, hunger, homophobia and Paris Hilton's new single to decree Honey Boo Boo as the "worst thing that has ever happened." 

If this is the only real contribution Honey Boo Boo ever bestows upon society, then we're better off for it.

Following an outpouring of outrage yesterday over the treatment of transgender woman, Carmen Carrera, TLC has pulled the episode of Cake Boss that depicts her as a the punchline of a prank that ultimately mocks the transgender community.

But an announcement by the remaining members of TLC to resurrect Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes as a hologram is making some folks uncomfortable in a different kind of way. 

Move over Juviderm—a new instant face-lift trend is taking over Hollywood. Thanks to TLC, we've learned there's nothing like the sheer horror from coming face-to-face with obsessed fans that'll leave a celebrity's face tight and wrinkle-free! The one and only Dolly was the first to undergo the experimental new procedure on an episode of TLC's My Collection Obsession, where partners Harrell and Patrick were surprised by the legend, who in turn was surprised by their devotion...

The socially-conscious R&B group TLC are considering a return to the music scene, but with no desire to replace Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopez. Surviving members T-Boz and Chilli told MTV in Las Vegas that they're hoping to get back in the studio, but only as a duo.

"Well, first I have to say, when people say, 'coming back together,' we've always been together. We're always TLC. We're not the former members of TLC," Chilli said. "This is TLC right here, no new people in the group. It's just T-Boz and Chilli."

Considering the current music landscape, TLC's positive and inspirational flavor would be refreshing, don't you think?
