"I've played with everything and everyone," he allegedly told the U.K. publication. Now, with Warrior achieving critical success and Hardy's star rising he'd like to clear up a few things...

Tom Hardy has been incepting himself into our vastly-layered dreams ever since last summer, when, around the time Inception first boggled our brains, we learned the studly actor had kissed a boy in his past...and liked it. Now, as we wait with bated breath for Tommy to star as the villianous Bane in next year's Batman sequel, we get a little bone (hardy, har) tossed our way in the form of a sexy new poster promoting the actor's next film, Warrior. It was speculated earlier this year that Mickey Rourke would play Gareth Thomas in the upcoming biopic about the Welsh rugby player who happens to be gay (see below for Rourke's instructions on labels). Over the weekend, Rourke confirmed with a U.K. radio show that he landed the role. Following is transcript from the broadcasted interview which shows that perhaps Mickey is the right choice to bring Gareth's story to the screen, despite our concerns (and fantasy casting; follow the jump to see who we nominated to play the rugby star):
