Rick Perry's myopia was on display yet again over the weekend when he appeared on a Boy Scouts-centric webcast hosted by hate group the Family Research Council. Threatening the ruin of the Boy Scouts of America at the hands of the "pop culture" of the LGBT community, Perry and fellow bigot Tony Perkins imply that the threat of inclusion will blow over as long as the BSA remains steadfast with its discriminatory policies.

The entire reason GLAAD and Jeremy Hooper's Commentator Accountability Project exists was displayed on Fox News today. In a segment about anti-gay pastor Rick Warren that included hate group leader Tony Perkins, dimwitted Fox News spokesmodel Megyn Kelly wanted to know why LGBT activists are so damn intolerant

Good question, Megyn.

Oh the smell of desperation in the afternoon!

Clearly seeing the writing on the wall that DOMA is soon to be dead in the water, hate group leader Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council is grasping for any straw that he can.

After all, what's the next logical step if same-sex marriages are federally recognized? Polygamist immigrants, of course!!

Watch after the jump.

Some heavy hitters turned out for Sunday's Face The Nation discussion of Tuesday's U.S. Supreme Court hearing on marriage equality.

Vocal LGBT advocate and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo, Family Research Council head Tony Perkins, Freedom to Marry's Evan Wolfson, Alliance Defending Freedom's Austin Nimocks, and former President Bush staff member David Frum (who opposed marriage equality, but now supports it), all came ready to play!

We may be biased, but we thought Evan Wolfson was a shining star. He laid out the arguments for why the Supreme Court should OBVIOUSLY rule in our favor and he made hate group leader Tony Perkins look pretty foolish.  Watch after the jump!

It's been a tough week for hate group leader Tony Perkins.

It's clear more than ever that his friends in the GOP are on the verge of leaving his outmoded discriminatory views behind in favor of being on the right side of history. If the trend holds up, says Tony, and the 2016 Republican presidential candidates wise up and support civil marriage for all Americans, then he will start a third party.

Infighting amongst conservatives? You don't say.

Hate group leader, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council isn't pleased with the Republican Party's tentative steps towards inclusion.

He tears apart of the GOP's report calling for tolerance after the jump!

The National Organization for Marriage's rally against marriage equality at the Supreme Court next month just gained unsurprising bedfellows. Hate group leader Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council has put his homophobic organization's weight into the rally, while Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput has pledged buses to transport bigots to hold signs that trash talk civil rights.

Nothing that falls from Tony Perkins lips is based in reality, so take his latest claim with a huge grain of salt rimming your lunchtime margarita. But, according to the hate group leader, he's successfully convinced Walmart to stop supporting various LGBT groups.

It's surprising they still have things left to ship considering all the companies that support the LGBT community, but it looks like followers of the Family Research Council can't turn to the UPS in the final shopping days of the holiday season thanks to a new mandate from Tony Perkins.

Dan Savage really, really wants Tony Perkins to take part in the great American litigious tradition. For the second time (this time in the form of a video) the activist practically gets down on his knees to beg hate group leader Tony Perkins to make good on his promise of a lawsuit.

So, what does Dan now have to say about Tony's threat?

Rather than simply licking their wounds in the wake of their embarrassing defeat as they opposed marriage equality the poor persecuted "Christian" right has decided that "civil disobedience" is the answer.

Right-wingnut, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council is encouraging the "Christian" (there we go with those pesky quotes again) base to rise up against those forces that are "redefining marriage."

What that will entail, he won't say, but we're sure he doesn't mean to come off as threatening, right?? Certainly not.

Decide for yourself after the jump.

And Tony Perkins wonders why his Family Research Council gets labeled as a hate group?

It couldn't possibly be because he and the group try to inflame anti-gay sentiment by drawing baseless correlations between the gays and well...everything.

Perkins tries to tie the lowered number of military absentee voters to the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" after the jump.
