American Independent investigative reporter Todd Heywood has looked into the validity of the story put forth by Uncle Poodle (government name: Lee Thompson). Based on multiple red flags, Heywood believes the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star may have lied about sending his ex to prison for undisclosed HIV status.

One of the standout reasons Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was celebrated by gay audiences in 2012 is the show's inclusion of the star child's uncle, Lee Thompson. Fans of Bravo's Shahs Of Sunset pointed Instinct toward an off-color remark made by season 2 newcomer Lilly Ghalichi in the new episode from the popular reality series.
