Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao hit the LGBT community below the belt this week, but Floyd Mayweather—largely regarded as Pacquiao's only pound-for-pound rival—has rushed to defend marriage equality.

What does Pretty Boy Floyd have to say about same-sex marriage ahead of a possible 2012 fight with Pacquiao?

Well those are fighting words!

Donald Trump—clearly seeking attention, so here you go, Donald—took his usual desperate rhetoric from Twitter to Fox News, where he called the mighty Cher a “loser” during an interview with Greta Van Susteren.

To keep Vice President Joe Biden from evolving beyond President Obama, Chief Campaign Adviser David Axelrod continues his attempt to downgrade the VP's landmark marriage equality support with a dizzying spin on his remarks.

We think President Obama wants to give us a little reminder of what he's accomplished on behalf of the LGBT community over the last 3 years.

Mitt Romney, an opponent of marriage equality, has hired Richard Grenell, an openly gay man, as his national security and foreign policy spokesman.

Brandon McCarthy, pitcher for the Oakland A's, has had it with the cheap laughs the "Kiss Cams" at baseball stadiums regularly go for, and has taken to Twitter to demand an end to the homophobia. 

A new unauthorized biography claims that Jessie J. is incensed after being directed by her record label to tone down being a lesbian and come out as bisexual instead. Actually, according to her Twitter feed, the only thing the pop star seems incensed about is the publication's claims. 

So International Kissing Day isn't until July 6, but as The Huffington Post so aptly pointed out, "National Kiss Day" is a trending topic on Twitter.

We're not the type to rain on someone's tonsil-hockey so by all means, get to kissing!

If Child Protective Services didn't start following these child-related Twitter hashtags before, perhaps it will start after a flood of shocking entries to the #ThingsIGottaTeachMySon thread saturated the social network. If you follow the National Organization for Marriage on social networks or its website, then this morning you, like many others, might've actually thought the anti-gay group had a change of heart and came around to espouse the values of Christianity for once.
