If choreography, One Direction and an anti-bullying message occurred more in professional sports, we might buy a team jersey in a non-ironic way one of these days. A group of talented kids in Vancouver brought pro-sports one step closer to our gay dreams when they decided to perform an anti-bullying "Acceptance" flash mob at a Vancouver Giants hockey game.

Just shortly after arriving in Vancouver to take in some winter action, the summer games' golden child made two big announcements: The 2010 Games in London will be his last AND he will not attempt to repeat his record-setting win of eight gold medals.
Though athletes "retire" all the time, only to annoyingly be swayed back for the chance of futher Olympic glory (yeah, we're talking to you Plushenko), Phelps said he's pretty set on his plans.
"I told myself I will not swim over the age of 30, and I will not swim over the age of 30," he said.
He'll be 27 when he hits the pool in London.

At the risk of encouraging his haters, sixth-place Olympic finisher Johnny Weir has come forward with a big decision weighing upon him: whether or not to retire from skating to pursue a career in fashion.
Weir, arguably America’s figure skating darling in the Vancouver 2010 games, sparked a dialog across the country this week (even here on the Instinct blog) for everything from a public fight with PETA, to a public fight with gold-medal-winner Evan Lysacek, to his Olympic costumes – which he designed, of course.
