Remember that lunch break we said we were taking after the Trevor Donovan CSI scene (see previous post)? Well we might extend it a bit after noticing this behind-the-queens video featuring nekkid shirtless hetero hotties more oiled up than a Denny's Grand Slam breakfast for the 2011 FCKH8 Calendar.

Probably NSFW.

In November 90210's Trevor Donovan gaves us one of our favorite Primal Instinct's of 2010 when he Tweeted a picture of himself half-dressed as a Spartan during a shoot for CSI. Now we have the video. Pardon us if we don't return 'til after lunch.

Yesterday it was Iowa's Governor Elect making marriage equality headlines (and earning a spot in our Quote/Unquote feature); today's it's Rhode Island's newly-sworn in Governor Lincoln Chaffe who utilized his very first speech as state leader to vigorously call for swift marriage equality legislation. Perhaps we had more friends of equality make it through the midterms than we anticipated.

"I urge the General Assembly to quickly consider and adopt this legislation. When marriage equality is the law in Rhode Island, we honor our forefathers who risked their lives and fortune in the pursuit of human equality. Rhode Island today must be as welcoming to all as [the state's founder] Roger Williams intended it to be. Mark my words, these...

Ramin Setoodeh -- the senior Newsweek writer who made homo headlines when he announced that all gay actors can't play straight based on Sean Hayes's (in)ability to butch it up in Promises, Promises -- has returned to our pop-consciousness with a tuned-up thesis: gay actors might be able to convincingly portray a hetero if Hollywood offered them more roles.

He brought his revamped one-trick pony and desperate need for attention to the Joy Behar Show last night. Follow the jump to watch and let us know if you think Ramin's new angle of the same argument is more palatable.

Updated Tuesday, Jan 4, 1 p.m. EST

Navy Captain Owen Honors has been permanently relieved of his duties, a.k.a., fired from his post as captain. He is not kicked out of the Navy, however

A video of sailors showering together has captured our attention since the weekend, but for once it's not a film produced by Bel Ami. By now you've surely heard about the in-house flim "designed to teach sailors about camaraderie and water conservation" that featured a bevy of anti-gay jokes produced with tax payer dollars by Captain Owen Honors of the Naval ship, The Enterprise.

But that hasn't shut up the dimwits over at the American Family Association, who blame the suspension of Honors and the fury over the homophobic...

At the risk of having my hipster gay card revoked, I'll courageously admit: I wasn't a fan of the latest music from Bjork (scored for the Moomins film) we posted here in August. Like Daft Punk's migraine-inducing Tron soundtrack, it falls under the category of edgy and cherished 90s artists I grew up with who disappoint on their highly-anticipated film scores. But her new track "Hummer," which allegedly has a spot on the Icelandic diva's upcoming project titled Biophilia, marks, in my opinion, a return to the Bjork we all love. Or maybe I'm simply partial to the song title.

Heart or hate the new Bjork, Instincters?

While Snooki prepares to infect our eyes (see previous post), Kim Kardashian is set to infect our ears. Unfortunately, a seven-day antibiotic won't clear up either.

At least Kim finds her venture into music as shocking as we do, declaring "I didn't mean to, but I did this song," before premiering her new single, "Turn It Up," at Tao Nightclub in Vegas.

(Follow the jump for corny (you'll see) stills from the music video for "Turn It Up" that Kim Tweeted over the weekend.)

In our second story of the day celebrating the courage of a gay or gay-friendly youngster, five-year old Dyson Kilodavis (who prefers to be called "Princess Boy") appeared on The Today Show this morning to spread a message of tolerance alongside his mom-of-the-year, Cheryl. The kids are all right, indeed.

If you thought the dark rooms at Splash or the Mayan were the places to ring in 2011, you might have been wrong -- with Coldplay's Chris Martin on piano, Beyonce wooed audiences with a gorgeous and intimate rendition of "Halo" on New Year's Eve at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas.

Seth Walsh died of suicide in September 2010 after enduring relentless anti-gay bullying at his California school. Late last week, Nate Berkus surprised the late teen's mother Wendy with the unveiling of a newly-decorated youth lounge at NYC's GLBT Center in Seth's honor. But the surprises for the family didn't end there: Shawn Walsh (Seth's 11-year old brother) sticks out as an eloquent advocate for raising awareness against anti-gay bullying, a distinction that has earned him the first Chely Wright "Like Me" scholarship from a new program that'll award five students a year who fight against bullying in their schools with funds for college.

You know by now that GOProud was one of our "Worst Offenders of 2010." After Dan Savage (one of our BFF's of 2010, coincidentally) appeared on Countdown on Wednesday, it's clear we're not the only ones who feel that way.
