The University of Warwick rowing team already had us contemplating studying abroad (and taking up rowing) when they released their naked calendar last year

Now they've got us coming up with even more...creative ways to thank them now that the boatclub is opening up the UK's first sports training center dedicated to the LGBT community.

Bret Easton Ellis spent a large part of the weekend doing what he seems to do best lately: complaining on Twitter. This time around it's not Glee or HIV positive gay men he's roughing up, it's GLAAD. 

According to the openly gay author, GLAAD banned him from attending its annual Media Awards on Saturday. Then, he goes on to claim, they asked that he keep the story private and not tweet about it. 

But GLAAD fired back with its version of events.

President Bill Clinton was honored by GLAAD with the Advocate for Change award last night at the star studded GLAAD Media Awards Gala in Los Angeles. 

The decision to honor Clinton was met with controversy based on his role in the passage of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which was clearly on the minds of many in attendance.

Well at least GLAAD won't have to pay for travel!

The San Francisco Giants will be honored at the GLAAD Media Awards on May 11 in San Francisco. 

The Giants will be receiving the Corporate Leader Award, which is presented to companies or organizations that have demonstrated a stalwart commitment to building support for equality.
