With pressure continuing to build regarding President Obama’s “evolving” stance on marriage equality—many members of the LGBT community just want him to take a solid, public stance on the issue—it comes as no surprise, that the President’s advisers “have held serious discussions with leading Democrats about the upsides and downsides of coming out for gay marriage before the fall election,” according to a Democratic strategist connected to Obama’s inner circle.
These discussions have invited some interesting debate.

We're getting our first look at how Washington voters will be presented with an effort to repeal marriage equality in the state at the ballot in November. A judge has denied the homophobes' effort to wedge "redefining marriage" into the repeal's language and has instead approved a summary that will be less charged when voters head into the booth.
