As quickly as dozens of GLBT activists—including past Instinct cover guy and Leading Man of 2009 Lt. Dan Choi—chain themselves to the fence surrounding the White House to call attention to President Obama's inaction on a DADT repeal, D.C. police and the Secret Service are taking them to jail.

We received the following remarks Choi is reported to have told the crowd before he headed to the White House:

“Hello. My name is Lt. Dan Choi. I am being discharged from the U.S. Army because I am gay and dared to say it out loud.

When will they learn love eventually prevails over hate?

For a second time, a D.C. Superior Court ruled against foes of marriage equality. Today's decision upholds marriage equality in the district, which the Human Rights Campaign applauds.

"This second, back-to-back ruling by the DC Superior Court is an overwhelming victory for fairness, the rule of law and the protection of all DC residents against discrimination," responded Joe Solmonese, Human Rights Campaign President. With the spotlight on the Human Rights Campaign in DC this weekend, queer liberation group, Bash Back, took the opportunity to commit what it calls an act of "glamdalism" on the HRC's capitol headquarters. Though it had been speculated over the weekend that the notorious group was responsible for the "Quit leaving queers behind" graffitti, it was yesterday when Bash Back took responsibility in a post on its website:
