The National Organization for Marriage is blatantly employing its notorious "race baiting" strategy in North Carolina ahead of the presidential election. In ad spots purchased on R&B and gospel radio stations in the state, NOM voiceover actor Pastor Patrick Wooden tells North Carolina African-Americans to ditch their vote for Obama due to his "strong endorsement of the homosexual movement."

We don't require any evidence at all to know that the National Organization for Marriage has to resort to lowdown dirty tactics to further its agenda of hate, yet it keeps coming. First, internal memos from NOM's campaign against equality in Maine were released on Monday. Today, Louis J. Marinelli (the NOM defector who has turned into a marriage equality advocate) releases internal emails from Maggie Gallagher and project leader Joe Giganti that further reveal the exploitation of minority communities the anti-gay group pursued.

Canada's former prime minister Jean Chrétien has raised a red flag, warning the country's liberals that marriage equality laws are on current conservative leader Stephen Harper's chopping block. Are Chrétien's alarm bells being rung by reality or does it just amount to fundraising fuel for the opposition party?
