L.A. gays might celebrate Pride a little early in the month, but worry not: like a bat signal for the gays, City Hall will shine lavender lights throughout June reminding the community of its heritage. 

Our insurance rates go up this time every year thanks to the devilishly distracting Pride month billboards courtesy of the Abbey that feature some of the most smokin' hot male models around.

To be safe, we've had our airbags tested in preparation for this year's selection of yummy billboards from the West Hollywood gay institution, which feature locals Jesse, Stephen and Matt in various states of undress. Lucky for us, the behind the scenes video from the billboard photo shoot can be viewed while we're not operating heavy machinery.

Last week's decision by the Abbey—located in West Hollywood but considered to be the "best gay bar in the world"—to ban bachelorette parties ignited quite the comment discussion on this here blog. To help convince and soothe those critical of the policy change (and believe us, there were plenty), owner David Cooley appeared on CNN and explained his move. 

Sometimes, on sadly unsuccessful nights, the only phallus we get shoved in our faces comes from drunk straight girls flaunting man-meat-shaped lollipops at bachelorette parties being thrown at West Hollywood's The Abbey. But the shrieking, penis-balloon-hat wearing girls will be a thing of the past now that The Abbey, often crowned the world's "best gay bar," has banned bachelorette parties.

Andrew Christian's latest video finally gives a starring role to the unsung heroes of the underwear makers previous releases: the booty. We never recommend violence, but watching a handful of the Andrew Christian boys punch their booties (to the electro hit "Punch My Kitty") has us running for the ice.
