Ah, Ellen! We love you so much. My pal JD forwarded me her blog post about Ellen taking McCain to task on his stance on same-sex marriage (which would be "no"), just a few days after her own decision to marry her partner, Portia de Rossi, after California's landmark decision.
This segment begins with Ellen bringing up the "elephant in the room." After McCain tells her he believes in contractual agreements, but not "marriage," she goes on to liken the separate-but-equal treatment to the civil rights era struggle and apartheid, to thunderous applause. People in the past have criticized Ellen for not being political on her show. Well, this is about as political as you can get.
This is something I'm really happy to see from Ellen, given her national sway, especially on the heels of yesterday's Oregon appeals court decision that upheld a 2004 voter initiative that banned same-sex marriage in that state.

McCain said that he and Ellen have a "respectful disagreement" about marital rights for gays.
Fuck McCain up the ass with a huge black dildo.

I don't think McCain truly believes what he is saying. Notice how he constantly stares at the ground as he gingerly chooses his words. Like he doesn't want to offend anyone - particularly his base. He is clearly pandering to the right and compromising what he truly believes just to get elected. That in of itself is truly disgraceful of any human being. He knows he doesn't have a chance of getting elected since he is hated by members of his own party! So what do you do? Try and make yourself look good to the enemy! That's all he is doing.

Wait...which one's John McCain in the pic?

Doesn't really matter what McCain really believes. It's what he actually does. And he's not going to be taking our side if he wins, that's for sure.

Yeah, I agree that McCain is just towing the party line. And that makes it all the more despicable.
Plus, honestly, I hadn't seen much live footage of him recently. It's no joke - mofo's OLD!
