ImageAs predicted, wedding planners in California are going into overdrive to try to accommodate the oncoming rush of same-sex nuptials they're anticipating for the summer. But woe, much of the fab wedding hotspots have been booked solid by all those darned heteros for months! What's a homo to do? Some advice from a wedding planner:

[Heather Holliday]'s got a strategy. She's pushing Sundays, for one. "Even some of the nicest wineries" are available then, she said. Heat aside, top outdoor spots are still available in July, a less popular wedding month.

Sundays, huh? Not too original. Here are a few more tips we thought of for fab last-minute gay weddings:

5. Forget the priest. Hire a drag queen.
4. Lose the low-carb, gluten-free, Splenda-sweetened cake. Those things take time.
3. No guest list; just flyer the clubs.
2. It's OK—Mom can sit next to your porn star friend. It'll expand her horizons.
1. Dress code: "Clothing optional."
