Interesting tidbit this morning... Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law have all signed on to take the place(s) of Heath Ledger in the upcoming Terry Gilliam film The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. Heath had apparently filmed the movie's "realistic" sequences; the three new actors will apparently play altered versions of Heath's character in the film's fantasy sequences.

(Cue dramatic music...) Hollywood will always find a way!

A statement from the film's producers from Variety:

"Since the format of the story allows for the preservation of his entire performance, at no point will Heath's work be modified or altered through the use of digital technology. Each of the parts played by Johnny, Colin and Jude is representative of the many aspects of the character that Heath was playing."

We miss you Heath! Apparently it takes three big name actors to fill your shoes...
