…supporters show him the money!
The scary news is he’s beginning an Internet-based fundraising campaign that kicks off on Monday, October 1. If he raises $30 million in three weeks time (by the 21st), he claims he’s all in for the 2008 presidential race.
With all the well-oiled (cough, cough) candidates already in the republican circle, you’d wonder why, right? Well, Gingrich has said in the past that he thinks Hillary will get the democratic nomination and that he would be the best Republican to debate her.
Is that really a good enough reason to run for President of the United States? Because you think you can out-debate somebody?
How about caring about our country and uniting it, rather than dividing it!?
To boot, Gingrich said that if he did decide to run for President, he would make his announcement on November 13—exactly 32 years from the infamous day Ronald Reagan declared his first run for the White House.
Is it me, or are all these republicans grasping at every and any chance to associate themselves with the late Reagan?
It’s kinda pathetic.

The Project Runway 4 cast was announced yesterday on Bravo's Web site. We love the show, not only for the inherent drama and crazy clothes, but for the fact that it's one of the few places on TV where the gays can represent as themselves. And we've gotten it all, from flaming queen to indie hipster. Two guys caught our eye from the new cast:
Christian, who is possibly one of the flamingest gays ever to grace the small screen:
Rami, who is a friend of the magazine and quite possibly one of the sweetest and most talented guys in fashion in Los Angeles. Plus, he's hunky!
Forget Will and Grace -- Project Runway is the show that brought real gays into the living rooms of people across America, and this season seems like it's going to be no exception. We've got out TiVos set!

Kevin Smith, the famous indie director of Clerks and Dogma, appeared on David Letterman earlier this week to promote his new book, "A Boring-Ass Life." Halfway through the segment, Letterman produced a gay magazine called "A Bear's Life," which features a perplexed-looking Smith on the cover with another bear-ish guy.
You gotta love the fact that Smith, who is straight, would recognize his sizeable bear following and have no qualms about appearing on the cover of a gay magazine. Apparently, the magazine approached him and told him all about the bear community, how he is an object of attraction as an archetypal bear, and he was game. In a funny moment, he explained his motivation, saying, "Are you telling me there's someone out there who sexualizes me?!? I'll be on that magazine, totally!"
Video after the jump.
