A profile of David Beckham that ran in the L.A Times on Sunday included one little detail about the glamorous life (flossy flossy) of Posh and Becks that no one was likely to forget.

When Mrs. Beckham was preggers with her third child, Dave spent $1.8 million for a diamond-encrusted sex toy with matching 16-carat diamond necklace for the lovely Spice, or so the story goes.

As bizarrely fantastic as this news was (and I have to admit it made me love Vic a little more), I'm sorry to report that it's also apparently untrue.

Sigh.

Guess she's got other ways to spice up her life?
