If you live in the LA area and are a fan of cool music (and are free tonight, Monday, April 30) you should come down to Largo to see gay rock icon Kristian Hoffman performing. (Here's the 411 on Mr. H. from Wikipedia.) There are six performers, each doing a 15-minute set, and the theme is "Calamity"! Exciting!

Check out a great interview with Dan Gillespie-Sells, openly-gay frontman of U.K. pop/rock act The Feeling, at one of Instinct's fave music sites, Chart Rigger
"It's probably the first proper boyfriend I've ever really had," Dan said, "because I've just totally scuttered around the whole thing for so many years. And I'm 28 years old and I'm, like, talking about my first real boyfriend...but certainly, it's the first relationship that I've been really happy to talk about."
