In a surprise move, Paris Hilton left the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, spent a few hours at home, then turned herself in early! (Which explains why she looks so glam in this booking photo. Honey, those extensions are just asking to be ripped out!)

She was supposed to show up at L.A. County Jail today, and earlier rumors had her pegged to make a Naomi-esque photo-op before she went behind bars. Instead, in what might be rare act of humility (?!?) we are only afforded a short glimpse, at the wee hours of the morning, of Paris, silent in the back seat with her mom Kathy beside her, driving away from her house...we love how they kept the car windows down, of course.

What are we going to post about for 23 days??

You know, as much as we all like to read our headlines about Paris, I'm actually quite glad she has to be put behind bars. Just to show her that is just as common as everyone else. lol!! I'm sure we'll get some stories out the whole ordeal before the 23 days is up, then we'll get her autobiography of Paris....a prison bird flown free. =)
