When we think of cruising from L.A. to New York, we imagine a Priscilla: Queen of the Desert adventure along Route 69 66, starting at WeHo's cruising epicenter on Santa Monica Boulevard and ending in Chelsea. But the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles has just announced a partnership that enlightens us to another way to go gay between New York and L.A (apologies for falling into verse)! Details follow.

The news had invited a chorus of "you're crazy"'s out of the mouths of friends.

Sure, the idea of me being crazy isn’t far-fetched, but I had at least expected news that I was traveling to Provincetown in the late-season to be met with open minds. My Manhattan friends, who in July of the previous year had overwhelmingly supported a peak-season trip to Provincetown, greeted the announcement with confusion.

It's no secret that the LGBT loves to travel with extreme class, and renting stunning villas in such exotic locales as Anguilla and Turks & Caicos is one of our favorite ways to do just that. Now, finding a private island getaway for thousands of night is (to our money manager's dismay) within a few clicks of our keyboards.

We're fans of the dark for a few reasons:

1.) The most pleasurable things happen in the dark

1.) It's far better than halogen lamps on our gay genes

But last night's massive power-outage across the Southwest was no fun. Luckily, San Diego (and parts of Arizona and Mexico) has been plugged back in, just in time for a weekend jaunt to one of our favorite So-Cal cities!

We love living by the old adage "When in Rome..." whether traveling or on a staycation (perhaps because Romans enjoyed a hedonistic lifestyle?). Though we think we might've put the saying into action, Projects Abroad's new "Nomad Projects" adventure options really kick the whole "living like the locals" idea into high gear! Details follow.

AdNews is reporting that social networking site LinkedIn has dropped an advertisement targetting gay travelers based upon what it calls "inappropriate content."
