We caught up with Jonathan Lovitz, the "accidental advocate" and Logo's new dating expert, to get his take on all things gay—from Grindr and shouting over Gaga to being a second-class citizen. The southern gentlemen talks to Instinct about what makes him tick, how his boyfriend landed him three years ago and how you can land a man of your own. And if his advice can't get you a date, it can probably get you out of a date with jury duty. Check out what this setup stud has to say below, and be sure to catch his new show, Setup Squad, Monday's at 10 p.m. on Logo.

Jake Shears has been touring the world with the Scissor Sisters since last fall, promoting their fantastic latest album, Night Work, and supporting Gaga on the recent leg of her Monster Ball. One would think he’d take a breather now that the tour is over, but Jake is anything but predictable. That’s because he’s now calling San Francisco his temporary home as Tales Of The City prepares for its world stage premiere! In Instinct’s May Soapbox, Jake talks about the massive task of writing a musical version of the beloved books. But now we caught up with Mr. Shears (after frustratingly being unable to access Internet porn from his Utah hotel room, go figure) and we’re finding out if this experience has sparked a new career, who introduced... What seemed absolutely ridiculous and impossible came and went in under nine hours last week as I completed my first century ride! That’s 100 in 1 day, for those unfamiliar with bike speak. It was part of the annual Paul Hulse Century training ride, which saw me and a few hundred other riders get up at 4:30 a.m., drive about an hour up to Valencia and then hit the road up and out to the coast in Ventura (and then back).

We've been bitten by the Teen Wolf hysteria that has swept the blogosphere. First, word that gay-dored (and hot) actor Colton Haynes joined the cast piqued our interest; then, late last week it was revealed that the MTV scripted series (based on the '80s franchise) would feature a gay character—an achievement due in part to the show's out writer and executive producer, Jeff Davis. Though Jeff's schedule is understandably hectic as the show's production engine revs, he took a few moments to paint a clearer picture of Danny (Teen Wolf's resident gay played by actor Keahu Kahuanuil, pictured below in the story) and whet our whistles for the summer of the werewolf!

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson took over our April Soapbox to get a little serious about his commitment to the Trevor Project. Well that, and making it known that this sitcom star has some Broadway chops, too! Of course we couldn’t let him get away without talking a little about our favorite show, so check out what Jesse has to say about this season’s kiss controversy, feuding with Gleeks and the season-ending surprise that no one could have predicted.

But you know what happens when two girlfriends get together—they talk for days! So here's more exclusive content from their chat at the Ink 48 Hotel in New York.
Okay, the obligatory roots question: What effect do you think growing up in the Midwest had on you and how do you think it prepared you for surviving show business?
I definitely feel like growing up in Rockford, and around Midwesterners in general, helped me in my career a great deal. At the end of the day, there’s a genuineness and an authenticity with people from that part of the country... FULL STORY
