Well this is the cutest thing we've seen today (and the perfect thing to get us over the hump on this Hump Day)!

Newly turned 30-year-old Tyler Marcum paid homage to his 20-year-old self by doing a split-screen reenactment of an "interpretive dance" he performed in his underwear to the Dixie Chicks cover of "Landslide."

We've all been there.

It's adorable. And we're thinking 20-year-old Tyler would approve. (We certainly do.) Watch after the jump!

Democratic Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy has withdrawn his proposed amendment to the Senate's immigration reform bill that would have recognized binational same-sex married couples and allowed them to apply for green cards.

His decision came after it became clear that he would not have the 60 votes needed for the bill's passage. Key votes from Democrats were lost as Republican Senators made it clear that they would vote down the bill if LGBT provisions were included.

Kaitlyn Hunt, an 18-year-old high school senior in Florida, is facing felony charges as a result of alleged sexual contact with her 14-year-old high school girlfriend.

The case is gaining national attention based on the question of whether or not Kaitlyn is being charged because she's gay. Relationships between older and younger high school students are obviously quite common and usually don't result in the older member of the pairing getting arrested...

In April we reported on Kristopher Sharp, the University of Houston-Downtown junior who was running to become vice president of the university's student body.

In a move that would have made Tracy Flick cringe in Election, someone that opposed Sharp's candidacy posted flyers announcing Kristopher's HIV-positive status with the question "Want AIDS?" blaring across the top. Kristopher was also accused of attempting to spread the "homosexual agenda."

Well apparently the students at UH-Downtown aren't easily influenced by fear-mongering and bigotry, because Kristopher won the election!
