Sexy Men of Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones is back on our tv screens, and that means our eyes can happily feast on all the sexy men that grace the show.
Throughout its eight seasons, Game of Thrones has given us dozens of sexy men to stare at (and plenty of sexy scenes to boot). And while some of these men have already passed away in the show’s world (and surely some will be going in the final season), two things that remain are their hotness and our fondness for them.
So as we prepare for the end of this momentous show, let’s take a moment to remember some of the many fantastic men that have appeared on Game Of Thrones.
Jon Snow (Kit Harington)
Could any Game of Thrones article like this ever start with another name? Despite this show being such an ensemble piece, no one can deny the leading manpower of Kit Harington’s Jon Snow. After all, the boy has plot armor to last him beyond the biggest of male leads!
But on top of being loved by the novels’ and the show’s writers, Jon Snow is favored by fans because of his charming good looks. The boy is a stunner, and that’s why his butt trended both times it was shown during the show’s run!
Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa)
Oh, Khal Drogo. How we miss thee.
Besides Jon Snow, Khal Drogo was one of the hottest men to pop up in Westeros. It didn’t hurt that he’s played by Aquaman, himself, Jason Momoa.
There’s just something about the rugged and raw power coming from Khal Drogo that strikes our hearts to this day.
Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal)
Speaking of characters that have captured our hearts and minds, there’s Pedro Pascal’s Oberyn Martell.
You can say what you want about the Martells and their storyline, but Oberyn was one of the most standout characters to ever make our HBO subscriptions worth it. Let’s not forget that Oberyn was bisexual and saw sexuality and expression as free and easygoing experiences. We stan a bisexual king.
Jorah Mormont (Iain Glenn)
While one’s a bisexual king, another is the king of the friend zones.
Honestly, there may be no one more loyal and devoted than Jorah Mormont. Mormont started out as being just a random face at the start of the show but he later became a noble knight, aid, and advisor. And there’s something about Mormont’s love and devotion that gives him a dreamy boy kind of quality. More of us should be looking for a guy like him.
Gendry (Joe Dempsie)
With bets setting up on who ends up winning the Iron Throne, it looks like a few people have their money on Gendry.
This sexy blacksmith has royal blood in his smoldering body, and we hope to see more of it. Whether he ends up winning the Game of Thrones or dying before the finale episode, we at least are happy we got to see that shot of him shirtless in front of a fire.
Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju)
And if eternal love and devotion aren’t what you’re looking for, then maybe goofy humor is more your thing.
There are two things that are for sure with Tormund Giantsbane. First, that is one large man. Second, that is one goofy guy.
Besides his love of fighting and his wild upbringing, Giantsbane is great because he’s the type of funny guy that would be loads of fun to have around. If you’re into having someone to laugh with and ogle at for his big burly body, Giantsbane is the sexy man of your dreams.
Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson)
If you’re more into the strong and silent type, you have Grey Worm at the ready.
We have seen Grey Worm developing his own romance and love story, and we absolutely love it. From his smoldering, sad boy looks to his triumphant moments in battle, we’ve been hot and heavy for Grey Worm for several seasons now. And because of that, we love seeing our guy finding happiness and love… You know, before the world ends.
Bronn (Jerome Flynn)
Look out for a knife in your back! It’s time to talk about Bronn.
Yes, Bronn has a shady history on the show. He started out being everyone’s favorite best bud and hype guy before he disappointed us all with betrayal. But now that we know to expect it, we can spend the last season watching Bronn with a loving (but distrustful) eye.
Daario Naharis (Ed Skrein/Michiel Huisman)
Whether you’re a fan of Michiel Huisman or Ed Skrein, many can agree that Daario Naharis of the Second Sons is a stunner. From having one of the show’s best sex scenes to having of the most random story departures, Daario Naharis is one hot sellsword that still has us guessing.
Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen)
Let’s be honest, Theon Greyjoy has been through a lot. This poor guy has gone from hot sex scenes to torture scenes to the current redemption arc at the end of season 7. While some may be turned off by his Reek persona, many of us had an interest in Theon before his great betrayal and some of us have our eye on him at the start of this final season.
Will Theon redeem himself as the go-to guy for sex scenes? We’ll have to wait and see.
Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage)
Now we all know, Tyrion Lannister has all of us wrapped around his little finger. There is no character as charismatic as Tyrion Lannister.
Peter Dinklage has given his character a presence and confidence that has many heads turning. We love him, we’re rooting for him, and we can’t help but call him sexy.
Samwell Tarley (John Bradley)
And who gets the title for the sweetest soul in all of Westeros? Well, that’s Samwell Tarley.
Sweet Sam is the standby best friend character that Bronn wishes he could be. He has stuck by his friend Jon since episode one and has snuck into our hearts for just as long. It also helps that he is in one of the most stable relationships in all of Games history. Forget what we said earlier, this sexy man is the type of guy we want to meet.
Robb Stark (Richard Madden)
But Jon Snow isn’t the only man of the North that has our attention. Robb Stark is just as sexy as his close relative.
The King of the North makes us howl like a dire wolf in heat, because of Richard Madden’s charm and commanding presence. Let’s be honest, we all wish we could have been the one this Stark fell in love with.
Loras Tyrell (Finn Jones)
And if you’re more into beauty and pageantry, we’ve got Loras Tyrell to turn you on.
As one of the only LGBTQ characters on Game of Thrones, we were all pretty excited to see Loras Tyrell get a haircut and some more attention in the latter half of the show. But while he didn’t talk much, he certainly looked cute.
Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)
Say what you want about his relationship with his sister, but you can’t deny that Jaime Lannister is hot. That’s especially true once he shortened his hair, stopped looking like the prince from Shrek 2, and got some personality outside of his sister’s shadow.
Jaime Lannister is another character currently on a redemption arc, and, hopefully, that means we get to see more of this sexy beast before things go badly up at the battle in the North. Let’s hope we get to see this stunning face just a few more times before the end of the show.
