The wait is almost over kittens, err, monsters.

Lady Gaga, 33, announced the release date of her forthcoming album called Chromatica on Monday, March 2, only three days after she dropped the first track off it (Stupid Love”).

“Welcome to “Chromatica”, coming April 10. Pre-order now,” the New York Native wrote on her Instagram while adding, “This is not the album cover but we made it for you to enjoy in the meantime.” Fans lined up the comments section with excitement that new music is coming from the pop superstar as its been over three years since she dropped her last studio album Joanne

There was, of course, the soundtrack to A Star is Born released in between Joanne and Chromatica that was a massive hit for Gaga. It sold over a million copies domestically in the United States and earned her the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2019 for “Shallow” with Mark Ronson, 44.

Expect her to dominate the charts with both “Stupid Love” and Chromatica over the next couple of months. The video for the track has already topped the iTunes charts and has amassed over 20 million views on its YouTube page.

This would be her fifth overall song to hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 track should it debut in that spot on next week’s list. Others included “Shallow” as well as “Born This Way”, “Poker Face” and “Just Dance”.
