According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Gal Gadot is open to the idea of having a female love interest for a Wonder Woman sequel. During an interview on the talk show Good Night With Guy Pines, the actress answered that she would like to have Halle Berry as a leading lady.
“I saw her the other day, Halle Berry. She’s so beautiful,” Gadot claimed. “She’s gorgeous. So, yeah, I could do it with her.”
It is worth noting that the upcoming movie will not delve into the superhero’s sexuality. However, it could be explored as one of the main themes for a possible sequel.
Comic writer Greg Rucka recently revealed the superhero Diana Price as “queer” following the community’s speculations. In line with this, he used Diana’s home island, Themyscira, as an example to explain his reasoning.
He claimed that it would only be logical for the islanders to be in a same-sex relationship since Themyscira is an all-women locality. The island is a paradise where people can fully express themselves in intimate relationships.
