Figure skater Adam Rippon, who won a bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, definitely got the gay and fashion communities talking about the leather harness that he wore under his Tuxedo.

Comments on social media ranged from "Who are you wearing? Tom of Finland," to "I'm wearing a harness to any formal occasion from now on," and "Biggest winner of @Oscars2018? Whoever got to top #adamrippon."

Amongst all the chaos, Adam issued this tweet on Monday night regarding his controversial attire, which in true form, he stands by completely.

The suit which was not a tuxedo it's a tailcoat has the ends of leather braces or suspenders on each shoulder. It's Moschino, for Christ's sakes always out there and kind of a parody of what society would look down on.

I might not have approved for the harness if it was the kind that disappear down into his pants so that you think it's got a cock ring on the end of it. That might be a little too much for the Oscars
