After much anticipation, Ryan Murphy revealed the title for the next installment of American Horror Story is Cult. Several months of teasing by the AHS creator indicated that the seventh season of the hit show would be inspired by the 2016 election, which was a horror story in itself.
During a special presentation at Comic-Con in San Diego, Murphy showed a creepy video with tons of sinister-looking clowns moving back and forth in unison then unveiling the season's title. The video also referred fans to the website for the upcoming season AHS7.com (I dare you to watch and try to sleep after viewing).
While we will still be awaiting more skin-crawling clues, we do know that American Horror Story: Cult will star Murphy's muse Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Alison Pill, Adina Porter, including newcomers: Billie Lourd, Lena Dunham, and the sexy Colton Haynes.
American Horror Story: Cult premieres September 5th on FX.
