Andy Cohen Gets SLAMMED Again on Social Media for His New Year’s Eve Hosting Gig

Social media has spoken, and once again, they didn't seem to enjoy Andy Cohen hosting CNN's New Year's Eve special for the second year in a row.

Andy replaced Kathy Griffin last year after the red headed comedian got herself into a ton of hot water over the whole Donald Trump mask debacle. The Watch What Happens Live host was categorically slammed on social media as a result for his hosting abilities alongside Anderson Cooper, and that didn't change much this year.

Kathy had some fun with this as well, retweeting several supportive tweets from fans who miss her on the CNN podium in Times Square.

She also claimed that Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones was in talks to replace Andy this year but wasn't able to due to a variety of reasons. Leslie wound up appearing on NBC's telecast alongside Chrissy Teigen and Carson Daly

There was some joy for Andy last night regardless of how badly he was criticized on social media. The 50-year-old made the announcement that he's having a boy only days after revealing that he's going to be a father for this first time in his life.

How did you think Andy did during his hosting duties?

  1. My husband and I had to turn

My husband and I had to turn it off! We wanted to support the two gay men but it is Awful without Kathy! Bring Kathy back and get rid of Andy. He will be too busy with his new baby anyway. Kathy should have never ever been vilified the way she was and especially for a President who is the absolute worst example of a human man!

Andy  you spoiled brat. You almost  maybe they are still thinking about it, but could have lost CNN their spot for NYC new years eve show over a stupid umbrella.  You are not made of sugar, you would not melt or dissolve. Please do not have Andy on again.

  6. I understand absence can make

I understand absence can make the heart grow fonder, but we weren’t singing the praises of Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin either. It’s more a case of bad to worse rather than from good to bad,

Like Kathy Griffin and the bleeding Drumpf head. But she should lay off Andy. She's starting to look like a jealous wife.

  9. He was no worse than anyone

He was no worse than anyone else, considering the alternative is Seacrest-who irritates my gag reflex, triggering massive vomiting and loss of anal sphincter control.
