Typically we like our men with a little (or a lot) of scruff on them, but we're making an exception for these gents who are doing something pretty rad for the month of Movember—a monthlong charity event that helps raise money and awareness for men's health.

Team Stachekrieg, a group of facial hair veterans, met at Joe’s Barbershop in San Francisco yesterday to say goodbye to their beloved whiskers and welcome their baby faces back into the world. Over the next 30 days, the men will carefully cultivate a moustache, and through the power of the stache, raise awareness and funds to combat prostate and testicular cancer.

Awesome, right?

Here's a pic of team Stachekrieg in all of their furry glory:

Movember is more than just the month formerly known as November. It's the global men’s health charity that has raised more than $446 million to date and there's men joining in all over the U.S

Check out the  Movember fundraising page for more information and to make a donation; all donations go directly to the Movember Foundation and are tax-deductible.
